Who is Marina Joyce?
MJ is a local singer songwriter and professional goofball in Calgary, Ab. She finds joy in how beautifully music brings everyone together and is passionate in being involved in the universal language of music any way she can.
Writing and creating her own music, MJ successfully and finally released her first EP in April 2023-a handful of songs written over a span of a few years. Additionally, MJ loves to lend herself to other creative projects as much as possible and enjoys being invited to share the stage with many local and Canada wide artists. With many of her own projects under her belt, she is equally as proud of her catalog of collaborations and vocal contributions with other artists.
Paint With My Colours
MJ’s most recent solo endeavour was released April 2023. The 5 song EP tells a relatable love story in a variety of genres appealing to a broad audience. With the exception of one song written and recorded in Ojai, California, the album was recorded and produced at The Bucket Brigade Studio just outside of Calgary Ab. Aside from her own project unfolding at this studio, MJ is fortunate enough to have been a part of many other artists projects that have come to life within those walls.
